Time Bank: Honoured for Humanitarian Aid Efforts

Erste Group was honoured by the Fundraising Verband Austria in the Wirtschaft hilft award for the most effective donations from Austria's business community. In addition to the donation for Ukraine, a day centre was provided to care for Ukrainian refugees. In cooperation with Caritas and SOS Children's Villages, almost 58,000 people could be cared for. Colleagues supported with a donation of 350 hours of their time. 50,000 hot meals were distributed, 10,000 breakfasts served and 1000 in-kind donations provided. We see it as our duty to assume social responsibility, especially in such crisis situations. Thank you to everyone who has been so committed', says Willi Cernko, CEO of Erste Group.
